Blue Mark Studios (892 Jefferson St NW) hosts The Humane League Atlanta Gala: A Celebration for the Animals tonight from 7-10pm, come celebrate with us and learn about The Humane League‘s groundbreaking efforts to reduce animal suffering! Hear from inspiring speakers, enjoy delicious drinks and mouthwatering vegan appetizers and desserts, bid on amazing prizes in our silent auction, and learn all about what your support of The Humane League means for animals!

Park Tavern (500 10th St) hosts Songs for Kids Food + Music Festival today from 1-5pm, tickets are $45 and include food and drink tastings from 25+ restaurants, as well as live music from Songs for Kids celebrating Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and more, with all proceeds going to support the Songs for Kids Foundation. $10 for kids under 16

Healium Center (344 Candler Park Dr NE) hosts HealiUm’s Bondfire & Drum Circle tonight at 7pm, Come drum, dance and stay warm by a fire with other people from our community. Bring whatever you’d like to play, drink and eat. No cover, but $3-$5 donation for firewood requested.

Atlanta Contemporary (535 Means St) hosts Lonnie Holley’s Artist Talk today from 11am-noon, his solo exhibition is still on display, along with his artist book, CDs, and LPs for sale.

Second Self Beer Company (1317 Logan Cir NW) hosts Girl Scout Cookies & Beer Pairing today from 1-4pm, if you missed a chance to do this at SweetWater earlier in the week then now’s your second chance. $12 entry, obv. 21+

Brother Moto (670 Memorial Dr) hosts Brother Moto Re-Opening Event today from 3-7pm, Atlanta’s only DIY motorcycle garage, espresso bar and curated retail experience. Free food, drinks, and a real nice time.

Mary’s (1287 Glenwood Ave SE) hosts Daydrunk: AWBTO Hangout today from 2-8pm, learn about A Weekend Beyond The Ordinary, give to Lost-N-Found Youth and help LGBT homeless youth, and listen to a variety of musical genres from the four AWBTO DJs. 21+

The Mammal Gallery (91 Broad St Sw) hosts Sweater Summer Light Art Party today at 8pm, we’re celebrating the end of winter with tropical light art, tiki bar beverages and danceable tunes from Breathers, Flamingo Shadow, Culture Culture, and DJ Yoon Nam

The Tabernacle (152 Luckie St NW) hosts Dita Von Teese’s The Art of the Teese Burlesque Revue tonight at 8:30pm, sold out but there are resale tickets for $$$.

Eyedrum Art & Music Gallery (88 Forsyth St SW) hosts LIFE tonight at 8pm, a sensory emergence of the natural order of Being. This 4 movement piece expresses the natural cycle of Birth, Growth, Death and Rebirth of Being. The project uses all live acoustic instruments such as: marimba, floor tom, shakers, snaredrum, vocals, etc., to create and immerse the audience in a live loop.  Performed by Chris Gravely. $7 cover.

The Basement (1245 Glenwood Ave SE) hosts Keep On Movin! Rock n Soul Dance Party tonight at 10pm, $7 cover. 18+

Space2 (485 Edgewood Ave) hosts Morph 6 tonight starting at 10pm, five DJs performing all night long with visual by Greg Hornak. Morph is an inclusive and intentional safe space for queer people of color in Atlanta. $7 cover.

The Music Room (327 Edgewood Ave SE) hosts After Dark with Antonio Ramsey tonight at 7pm, featuring Kori James and Hanna Lashay as guest artists.

Joystick Gamebar (427 Edgewood Ave SE) hosts Home Brewed Short Films at 6:30pm, 40 minutes of local short films, curated by Adult Swim’s Jonothon Mitchell. This leads immediately into NerdLanta Live at 7:10pm, Atlanta’s only Live nerd culture talk show Hosted by Kristopher Bolz from 8-Bit Comedy Night and ATLtoDo’s Nerdy South Column! Both events free and 21+

 Laughing Skull Lounge (878 Peachtree St NE) hosts THE ABCD Show: A Burlesque Comedy Drag Show tonight at 7pm, combining the time honored traditions of stand up comedy, burlesque and drag to bring Atlanta a variety show unlike any other. ABCD Show celebrates the body and mind in all forms.

Orpheus Brewing (1440 Dutch Valley Pl NE) hosts Orphism #8: Live Painting with Sanithna Phansavanh today from 12:30-5pm. You’ve recently seen his beautiful work on our recently released Maenads Tripel, and he’ll be hanging out for awhile painting with us this Sunday. (Somebody drink an Atalanta for me, it’s so good.)

Second Self Beer Co (1317 Logan Cir NW) hosts Manic Pixie Beer Launch with Keith P. Rein today from 1-4pm, Manic Pixie Dream Beer is a Russian Imperial Oatmeal Stout aged for 11 months in BLiS bourbon-maple-syrup barrels. Fusing art and beer, MANIC PIXIE DREAM BEER #1 comes in a four-pack wrapped in art by illustrator Keith P. Rein. Each 16-ounce can showcases its own unique design highlighting one of the four main elements of the beer: BOURBON, MAPLE, COFFEE, and OATS.

Aluma Farm (1150 Allene Ave SW) hosts a Compost Party today from 11-1pm, Come out to Aluma Farm THIS SUNDAY and help spread compost for our spring plantings! This is their third compost party, and  volunteers have a blast every time. Refreshments provided, hopefully it’s nice outside!

Twain’s Brewpub (211 E Trinity Pl) hosts Vegan Supper Sunday tonight at 6pm, $40 for a 3-course meal featuring pimento cheese grilled cheese, pot pie, and banana pudding.

Space 2 (485 Edgewood Ave) hosts Soul Food Cypher 5-Year Anniversary tonight at 7pm, Come celebrate with us Sunday, Feb. 26th at Space 2 as we push the envelope of the art of freestyle and spoken word. Free entry, free food, all ages.
