Summer bod week, keeping it light

free day

Krog Street Market

Free Wine tasting! Head over to Hop City at Krog, and taste through a delicious assortment of wines! This week may focus on some light and crisp summer sections! Kimmie (the resident cork dork) is always curating the perfect Tuesday tasting. From 5pm-7pm.

Its finally here! Watchman’s Seafood and Spirit at Krog street is slated to open this week! This place is the newest project from all the guys over at Kimball House. The old luminary space has been remade and redesigned in to a wonderful warm and welcoming space where diners can feast on dishes focused on seasonality and the great extent of a southern pantry. This team of people never disappoint, we are expecting to see the freshest oysters (all from southern locales), the tastiest dishes, and the newest competitor to neighbor, Ticonderoga Club’s cocktails.

Staying in the Market this week, we have a special four year anniversary celebration for Orpheus brewery! This Atlanta fave will be offering anniversary release only brews at the bar and they will be worth it! The party starts at 5pm! Hope to see you there.

Another exciting restaurant opening is the resurrection of the Clermont hotel, with restaurant group Indigo Road’s newest addition, Tiny Lou’s. A modern french brasserie located in the basement of the famed hotel, Tiny Lou’s is promising an homage to french comfort food or “food you would cook for a lover” and a french focused wine menu. This place looks fun and exciting and a great installation in a space in need of a little flare.
