Nerdy South From contributing writer Kris Bolz
This weekend flew by way too quickly, not ready to deal with work again, but luckily I’ve found a good amount of fun events to check out that should make this week go by a little faster. It’s the 4th of July on Wednesday and 8-Bit Comedy Night starts at 8pm. You can either watch lame ass fireworks while eating burnt hot dogs or see an awesome free stand-up comedy show, hopefully, you make the right choice. Marvel’s Ant-Man & The Wasp also comes out this Thursday. I may have to actually leave my house and go see this. Anyway, lot’s of stuff going on this week so you shouldn’t have any problems finding something to do.
Dad’s Garage (569 Ezzard St) 7PM-10PM
Have no fear! Game Night is here! Bring your board games, sit down and grab some pizza and beer! Dad’s Garage will be doing raffles for FREE tickets to any show! Titans Games will also be selling board games at 20% off! Not a bad deal if you ask me.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen this movie but I do remember laughing at a few scenes that probably weren’t meant to be funny, but I guess that’s pretty much the whole idea of this event, except the hosts are much better at making fun of the films than I ever was. Tickets are cheap, so hurry up and buy them.

You know this epic story and may have seen all of the various films, but watching the actors recite their lines while completely shit-faced drunk is really the only way you should enjoy this classic.
