Comedy Highlights: Feb. 20-26

Atlanta has one of the best damn comedy scenes in the country. If you’re looking to laugh (and why the hell wouldn’t you, Timothy!), check out one of these shows. 

1. Chris Distefano @ Laughing Skull – 6 shows, Thurs thru Sat

You’ve seen him on Comedy Central and MTV now Chris Distefano will head to the Skull for a weekend of shows. Before he jets off the LA to film his new CBS pilot, Distefano will headlines six shows Thursday through Saturday at the Midtown club.

2. Roast of Disney @ Highland Ballroom – Thurs, 2/23 at 9pm

Joe Pettis has done it again with his character roasts series. This month, Pettis and his funniest friends will dress up to tear down all your favorite Disney characters. No cartoon is safe, nothing is sacred. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets range from $7-10.

3. Forth and Five @ Village Theatre – Thurs, 2/23 at 9pm

You like sports? You like podcasts? You like comedy? Well, Fourth and Five is the show for you. David Perdue, Damon Sumner, and Nathan Owens bring their comedy/sports podcast, Fourth and Ten, to the Village Theatre stages for a live show complete with some stand-up guests. Dedrick Flynn, Trey Dunn, Samm Severin, and Jake Brannon perform on this month’s shindig. Doors open at 8:30pm. Tickets start at $8.

4. Cabbage Patch Comedy @ Milltown Arms – Fri, 2/24 at 8:30pm

Oh boy, this show is wonderful. It’s a fun, friendly vibe every time I’m at Milltown Arms for Cabbage Patch Comedy. This neighborhood bar hosts one hell of a comedy show and all for free!

5. ABCD: A Burlesque Comedy and Drag Show @ Laughing Skull – Sun, 2/26 at 7pm

A brand new variety show comes to the Skull this Sunday with ABCD. You’ll get burlesque, comedy, and drag all for the price of one show. This entertainment trifecta is hosted by ATLtoDo contributor/comedian Ian Aber. Tickets start at $12. Doors open at 6:30pm.
